Discover Well Being and Take it Home
With Yoga and Activity Holidays in France
What to Expect
The weather is wonderful! We are after all in the south of France. Usually it’s sunny and hot with occasional rain often accompanied by a dramatic thunderstorm.
The food is prepared with love and artistry by our award winning chef. He uses locally produced organic vegetables when possible, some of which come from our own vegetable garden.
Our guests are almost always adorable, fabulous people.
Many but not all are in the teaching or health care sectors. That said there is a wide range of guests of all ages and from all walks of life.
The emphasis is on creating community and on mutual support. Long lasting friendships are formed at la Roane resulting in people returning together year after year. We’ve even had a proposal of marriage....yes, it was accepted!
News Events & Course Updates.
Many of our guests return regularly and have become friends, sharing pictures and comments on our Facebook page.
I also like to send out 3 or 4 newsletters each year to let you know about special flight offers, local festivals and the latest news from La Roane.

La Roane is a haven of fun, laughter, rest and renewal in a loving supportive environment.
A place to relax and let yourself go! We will look after you and make sure you get the holiday you need.
Choose from 10 weeks of alternative holiday courses run by our carefully chosen group leaders. You can dance, sing, play, meditate, connect with nature. The emphasis here is on fun with a light hearted approach to spirituality.
"It felt more like a romantic house party than a course" - Louis, course participant
If you are looking for pictures to take home, this is the place to be. La Roane is peaceful and secluded with wonderful woodland walks to explore, a paradise for nature lovers.
Nearby is the mediaeval market town of St Antonin recently voted the 3rd most beautiful village in France and the scene of "The Hundred Foot Journey" starring Helen Mirren.
Flowing through St Antonin and the spectacular Aveyron gorge is the River Aveyron, ideal for picnicking, swimming and canoeing.
